Strategy

DingsRK will take responsibility for the customers requirements, and promises to carry these out to their satisfaction throughout all the stages of a commission. RK will maintain a reputation as an acknowledged and independent firm in the area of non-destructive testing, control, inspection and surveying for land based and offshore industry, together with all other aspects associated with these activities. RK will actively pursue developments related to it's field to enable it to offer as greater service spectrum as possible if and when the demand arises. RK's personnel will maintain a high standard in their work and will strive to increase their competence through further education, specialist courses and challenging projects.

The harmonising of technical regulations within Europe, deregulation and constant change in many other facets of the future facing both RK and other firms are seen as positive developments which offer new possibilities. RK invests in the future so that it's customers will see it as the best alternative.

The quality system of RK is established according to NS-ISO 9001:2000.

Furthermore, the quality system shall meet the following demands:

  • NS-EN 45001 General requirement for management of testing laboratories.
  • EAL-G15 Accreditation for non-destructive testing laboratories.
  • ISO/IEC Guide 25 General requirements for the competence of calibration and testing of laboratories.
  • Report from Norwegian Accreditation Sector Committee, P1, non-destructive testing.
  • NS-EN 473 / Nordtest
  • Documents of Norwegian Accreditation.

RK's quality manual describes all parts of the activities that comprises with the standards given above. The quality manual shall also cover other relevant quality related activities that are performed by Røntgenkontrollen AS.

Approvals

  • NS-EN 473/Nordtest - NTO registration number N-045 (Formally Nordtest Accepted Testcenter (NAT))
  • Norwegian Radiation Defence (Statens Strålevern) - approved to perform Industrial Radiographic (gamma).
  • Lloyds register - approved to perform thickness measurements on structure of ships (Grade 2).
  • DnV - approved to perform thickness measurements on structure of ships according to programme no. 402/98.
  • ABS Europe - approved as external specialists within NDT (Non-destructive testing).
